Every Rockpig Guitar is 100% Designed/Made/Assembled in Cairns Queensland Australia!
We utilise Custom Hand Shaped Templates, a Pencil, Straightedge Ruler, Vernier Calipers, an Eraser, Small Bandsaw, Planer Surfacer, Disc Sander Combo, Plunge Router, Drill Press, Custom Pickup Winding Machine, Devilbiss HVLP Spray Gun (Clear Coats) , Iwata HVLP Gravity Feed Spray Gun (Colours), a Sparkle/Flake “Cannon/Gun”, a 1 HP. Compressor, A Buffer, and an assortment of Hand Tools and LOTS of Sanding.!!
When you order a Rockpig Guitar you will receive “Build Pictures” every couple of days via email to show you the progress of your Guitar being built! (Usually we send 180 – 250 Photos throughout the build process!!)
These Guitars are all Handmade and the “Order to Delivery” time is approximately 10 – 12 weeks from when you place an Order!

The Rockpig Sniper Classic and Modern Models………
You wanted a Super Str@t and you got it! Our New Rockpig Sniper is a direct descendant of the Classic Str@tocaster! It shares many Contours and Curves along with the Classic Tones from a SSS Pickup Layout or you can opt for some extra “OOMPH” from our HSS or HSH Setup! We make our Sniper Model Bodies from Select Pieces of Alder, Poplar, Mahogany, Exotic Species (Special Request) and Swamp Ash.
The Sniper “Classic” shares DNA with a Classic Vintage Str@tocaster and has very similar dimensions and the model includes our familiar side mounted upside-down output jack (Our “Upside Down Side Jack” Design keeps the Guitar Cable away from the Whammy Bar Arm!) The shape is somewhat updated but still retains the “classic curves” of the original Str@ts!!
The Sniper “Modern” is a slightly modified or “downsized” version of the Classic Str@tocaster Body Shape – it sports deeper cutaways for easier high register access (for those with smaller hands!). The shape of our Sniper Modern is smaller size than a classic “Str@t” but is certainly not “tiny‘ like some other Super-Str@t manufacturers…

Rockpig Arena’s are our Tribute to our First Love in Electric Guitars (Vintage G Brand LP Guitars). These Guitars utilise Lightweight Honduran Mahogany, Eastern Maple, Rosewood and Ebony in all the right places to give you a tone that is close yet to those classic 1950’s designed G Brand LP Guitars, we even do the top carve close to those original LP tops to keep the feel and look.
The guitar is designed to have the same cubic volume of wood as the original LP guitars and the pickups are our very own PAF clone style pickups to get you in the ‘zone’ with better clarity, playability and upper register access. All Figured Maple Tops are your pick when we are ordering for your Build and we also source the lightest Honduran Mahogany we can find unless you specify that you want a “heavy” guitar.
Locking Tuners and Holly or Hard Maple HeadstockOverlays give a more Vintage Look and they make the headstock stronger, the Wrapover Bridge gives a Raunchy Vintage Burst/Goldtop Tone to these Guitars and we include it as Standard on each Model. These are our first design and we stand behind these as a Fantastic Guitar and a Great Alternative to a “G Brand” Custom Shop Reissue LP!
