Manufacturers and Reuben’s Guitar Repairs Workshop will not offer Warranty/Fixes on any Acoustic Instrument Preamp Systems. Preamps/Pickups and Electronic Components are quite fragile, Residing in the Tropics, being stored incorrectly, residing on the coast, being more than 1 year old from the PREAMP SYSTEM’s Manufacture Date, being exposed to the elements, being Shaken, Slapped or Tapped Percussively. Preamps/Components will ultimately fail or become unreliable. Failure is sometimes possible even after being Cleaned and Tested Serviceable in the Workshop in the above-mentioned Instrument/s. If a Preamp is Intermittent we find that Complete Preamp Unit Replacement will give a Performer back reliability from their Instrument.
The Owner or Person/s delivering or collecting an Instrument are Responsible for any “Conditions” or “Damage” that the Instrument is subjected to-before and after collection of above mentioned Instrument/s. We STRONGLY recommend that every Instrument has its own Hard Case for Storage and Transport to keep it protected from any Transport, or Carriage Type Damage.
When a Customer or their Agent collects the Instrument/s mentioned above – they received the Instrument/s in Repaired/Serviced Condition . The Work Completed will have been explained to them, the Instrument will be presented to them, they are encouraged to play test the Instrument and the Job Invoice needs to be paid in full before the Instrument leaves the Workshop .
